Understanding Odds

What Odds Mean

Odds of 2.0x = If you bet 1 SOL and win, you get 2 SOL back (1 bet + 1 profit) Odds of 1.5x = If you bet 1 SOL and win, you get 1.5 SOL back (1 bet + 0.5 profit) Odds of 3.0x = If you bet 1 SOL and win, you get 3 SOL back (1 bet + 2 profit)

Why Odds Change

Every time someone places a bet, the pool ratios change, so odds update:

Initial: Even money (0.5 / 0.5) After big YES bet: YES odds drop, NO odds rise After big NO bet: NO odds drop, YES odds rise

This is normal! The odds when you bet might be different from the odds when the market closes.

"0.500" Odds Explained

If you see odds of exactly 0.500 on both sides, it means no one has bet yet. This represents "even money" - a 50/50 split. As soon as the first bet is placed, odds will update.
